We do board cats, but only cats that are current patients. Many of our boarders have medical needs and it is very important to have a doctor-patient-client relationship with you and your cat. We want to be sure to offer you and them the best medical attention possible.
For cats that do not require medical attention, we want to be sure that boarding is in their best interest. Some cats may become very stressed when outside their normal environment. If boarding is not in your cat’s best interest, we can recommend pet sitters or other options. We can only make that recommendation if we know your cat.
We are in the process of updating our boarding facility. We are purchasing Mason Company Raintree Cat Condos. These have a separate area for litter boxes. They have perches for the cats to sit and observe. Cats from the same household can be housed together. There will be a reduced charge for the second cat in the same condo. Other options would be for the cats to have their own condo and be able to visit with each other (each cat would be charged for an individual condo). We hope to have the new condos available by mid-May.
We think that these new condos will make our boarding even more “Cat-Friendly”.
Please feel free to ask us about our new boarding facility.
