NOVA Cat Foster Update and Deworming

Writer's picture: NOVA Cat ClinicNOVA Cat Clinic

A very sad experience for us at the clinic.  Ellen works very hard with these “at risk” kittens.  Despite all of her efforts – some of the succumb to the simplest  of diseases – parasites.

In Ellen’s words

Stanley’s necropsy results are in. I am actually quite disappointed in the results. Despite all of the tests we sent out and several negative results, it was parasites that caused his body to shut down. This stresses the importance of yearly fecal testing on indoor cats, multiple times per year on outdoor cats, and especially on kittens.
