I can remember back in the 1970’s when acupuncture came to North America. This treatment seemed foreign, exotic, and incomprehensible to my mind. Fast forward 40 years and I have personally have had acupuncture treatment for various injuries with great success.
The same can be said with using acupuncture for our feline friends. I will admit that I forget that acupuncture is not just for injuries and arthritis. Treatments can be extremely helpful in other chronic conditions such as kidney disease.
NOVA Cat Clinic is proud to have Dr. Erica Barron on staff. She has been trained in acupuncture and certified at the Chi Institute in Gainesville, FL.
She is interviewed in the following video and explains how acupuncture could be helpful to your furry friend.
